Saturday - Las Vegas Speedway

The Bud Pole Qualifiers took place on Friday. Despite an early draw Friday, Ryan Newman posted a lap no driver could touch.

We are getting ready for the UAW-DAIMLERCHRYSLER 400 on Sunday.

Things went well yesterday, huge crowds. The brand ambassadors are the best we've had so far

Wed evening

So, I have to get ready for the trip to Las Vegas tomorrow. Flying out in the afternoon. I will pack tonight. I always pack light. Will be staying at the Nascar site Thu and Fri. May get a room at the MGM Sat and/or Sun. Will be getting back Monday night. Then things should slow down and be calm for a while.

I got all these calls today, weird. This girl, Indira, that Bill and I met in Miami called this morning, then another girl from Los Angeles from a couple of weeks ago called, and yet another one emailed.

Going to see about getting something to eat. I saw The Jacket yesterday, not that great. May go to a movie again tonight. Maybe a late session around 11 or 11:30 pm. May stop by Bar 9 on my way home. We'll see.

Oh, I talked to my friend Jen today, like on the phone using our voice (vs. txting,) we hadn't talked in forever. She's doing great, she is a lot of fun.

Tue early

Actually, I couldn't sleep today, so I modified the albums page on my site:

Photo Albums

It now looks a little better. I've added thumbnails and reformatted it as a giant table. It does take a while to download. Eventually I may break up the albums into separate pages (per year,) but not tonight.

Going to bed now.

Mon night

And here are some pics from the trip to Miami Beach. Bill joined me. It was fun:

Thu early

Still up, kind of late. I have a few more errands to run around the house, may not get to bed for another hour or so. Kind of chilly out right now, my wireless thermometer says 22 F (like -6 Celsius.) It was windy today, which contributed to the feeling of cold.
